Regular Town Board Meeting of
LONG LOST LAKE TOWNSHIP
June 8, 2010
Present: Supervisors Dave Johnson, Ardell Johnson and Greg Scherzer, Treasurer Dick Toomey, Deputy Clerk Becky Bergerson
1. Meeting was called to order at 7:00 pm by Supervisor Dave Johnson.
2. Additions to the agenda were considered, no additions added.
3. Reading of the Minutes
Motion to dispense with the reading of the minutes and to approve the minutes of the last meeting as written. Motion by Scherzer, second by A. Johnson, passed 3-0.
4. Treasurer Report
Cash Balance $ 9,274
Invested Balance 43,947
Total Balance $53,321
Motion to approve treasurerís report by Scherzer, second by D. Johnson, passed 3-0.
5. Claims for payment
April 3rd 2010 $500.00 grading Clearwater County Highway Dept
Motion to approve payment of claims by D. Johnson, second by Scherzer, passed 3-0.
6. OLD BUSINESS
A. Review progress of road projects
D. Johnson and A. Johnson drove the roads with Mitch Shegerud. Mitch agreed to do the work. A. Johnson talked to Shegerud this morning, 6/8/2010 and reported that he was waiting for optimal time to do the agreed upon repairs, rain was delaying progress.
B. †Winter sanding of Big Hill
A. Johnson had discussed project with Mitch Shegerud and Shegerud agreed to do project using ground up blacktop. D. Johnson asked A. Johnson to obtain a price per trip.
7. NEW BUSINESS
A. Adjust Aug 10th board meeting.
After a brief discussion a motion was made to move the starting time of the Aug, 10th board meeting to 8:00 pm in order not to conflict with the primary election to be held that day by Scherzer, second by D. Johnson, passed 3-0.
B. Upcoming events were briefly discussed, D. Johnson passed out a paper detailing election information.
C. D. Johnson shared a new contact for graveling, Dale Vogp who would charge $75.00 an hour or $60.00 a mile. Gravel would be $8.00 a yard. No action was taken.
8. NEXT BOARD MEETING: August 10th at 8:00 pm
9. Motion to adjourn by Scherzer, D. Johnson second, passed 3-0. Adjourned at 7:30 PM.
